Q. So what's the catch?
A. There is no catch. The winner gains a property worth around £395,000 and we get the market value for our home. If there isn't a winner by the end of the competition, then someone gains a cash prize instead, it’s as simple as that.
Q. Ok so what do I have to do?
A. Click on the competition entry button, answer the questions correctly, pay the £25 fee – then sit back with your fingers crossed!
Q. What are my chances of winning?
A. 15,800 to one. We are selling the maximum of 15,800 tickets before the competition can end.
Q. What if I enter more than once (buy more tickets)
A. Then your chances of winning are that much better. You can enter as many times as you like. If every entrant bought 4 tickets your chances would improve to 3,950 to one
Q. What does the winner have to pay for?
A. Just the competition entry and the cost of getting here. We are paying the stamp duty(if applicable) and conveyancing costs etc. All the bills relating to the house will be paid before we leave.
Q. What if not enough tickets are sold and there isn't a winner?
A. Then the ‘pot’ of money received in entries will go to the winner (less the set up costs of the competition).
Q. Is this a Lottery or Competition?
A. This qualifies as a Prize Competition under the UK Gambling Act 2005.
